December, 2009—Dale Pennington, UtiliWorks’ Managing Director will be presenting at Distributech Conference & Exhibition March 23rd at 3 p.m. Dale’s topic is on “Building a ‘Smart Grid’- How to Get it Done.”

December, 2009—Managing Director, Dale Pennington has been invited to speak at Spintelligent's “Metering, Billing/ MDM America 2010” in San Diego, CA regarding UtiliWorks’ SGIG selected client, the City of Ruston, LA. Darrel Caraway, City of Ruston and Dale Pennington will present at 9 a.m. March 9th on "The Construction of a Smart Grid Program with ARRA Grants."

November, 2009—UtiliWorks’ clients, the City of Ruston, LA and the Town of Danvers, MA were selected applicants for the SGIG Recovery Act. The DOE awards were based on the merits of the applicants and their future smart energy initiatives. Of the over 400 proposals, approximately 100 candidates were awarded a portion of the $3.4 billion in grants. Both applications that UtiliWorks assisted in drafting were accepted, a 100% success rate for our clients. Congratulations to the Town of Danvers and the City of Ruston for their success. October, 2009—The Brownsville Public Utility Board awarded a technical services contract to UtiliWorks to develop a Smart Grid Technology Road Map and perform a Business Case Assessment.

October, 2009—UtiliWorks welcomes Tisha Hayes as the Company’s Senior Consultant. Tisha will bring over 25 years of industry experience as a communications systems engineer.

September, 2009—Nicole Pennington joins the UtiliWorks team. As Marketing Coordinator, Nicole will assist in UtiliWorks’ use of media outlets, sales activities, research and technical communications.

September, 2009—Keri Hebert is hired as UtiliWorks’ Assistant Operations Manager. Keri will help accelerate UtiliWorks’ efficiency and productivity through her support of the project delivery team.

September, 2009—Dale Pennington, UtiliWorks Managing Director, is invited to present at Spintelligent’s “Smart Energy East Coast,” in New York City. Dale will be speaking about “Meter Data Management” on October 28th, 2009.

June, 2009—UtiliWorks is invited to be a guest participant in the ESMIG initiative in Brussels, Belgium on June 22nd.

May, 2009—Dale Pennington, UtiliWorks Managing Director was a guest speaker for the CS Conference held in Washington, D.C. the week of May 18-23rd. April, 2009—UtiliWorks is invited to a federal conference on developing Smart Grid Interoperability in Washington D.C. The meeting was managed in conjunction with EPRI and NIST.

March, 2009—UtiliWorks is awarded the AMI consulting project for the City of Battle Creek on the migration of their water AMI system.

December, 2008—UtiliWorks teams with Weston and Sampson Engineering on AMI Program Management for electric and water applications in the Town of Danvers, Mass.

November, 2008—The Louisiana Business and Technology Center celebrates its 20th year anniversary and presents UtiliWorks with the 2008 Tenant of the Year award.

June, 2008—UtiliWorks was hired by an international firm to conduct a full-scale research project for North American Electrical Meter and AMI Equipment.

May, 2008—The City of Danvers (MA) awards Procurement Selection contract for their electric and water metering systems to UtiliWorks.

August, 2007—The City of Houston awards AMI Assessment contract to Utilwiworks for a technology and business impact evaluation related to their 460,000 account water system.

June, 2007—The City of Lee’s Summit, MO awards AMI Assessment contract to UtiliWorks. The project includes an audit of key utility business processes along with AMI benefits analysis and project cost estimate.

May, 2007—UtiliWorks welcomes Bob Russ on board as the VP of Project Management. Bob bring over 25 years of experience managing complex projects in technology and business process improvement.
