Dale Pennington
Managing Director

Dale is the business and technology solution architect for UtiliWorks. He has extensive knowledge of the technology, software and networking components that are utilized in the Smart Grid/ AMI market. By utilizing proven workflow and asset management techniques that he has practiced over the last 30 years, Dale is able to assist clients in maximizing the benefits of their technology investment. Dale co-founded UtiliWorks in 2005. He is a frequent speaker at national and international industry events, and a contributor to a variety of industry publications.



Todd Barlow
VP Operations

Todd is responsible for all company strategic planning, resource development, internal process development, and financial performance. In addition, he spends time visiting customers, partners and vendors to insure that contract definition fully supports the technical and business objectives for the project. Todd co-founded UtiliWorks in 2005 and he has 25 years of experience in the utility industry including AMI, SCADA and process control applications. Todd effectively combines application knowledge with a practical understanding of commercial transactions involving the various stakeholders in end-to-end project delivery for utility automation.



Tim Patterson
Director - Service Delivery

Tim is responsible for service delivery throughout the organization. With over 20 years of experience, Tim is an expert in metering automation technology, IT integration, and project management. Tim has extensive experience in design, manufacturing, and implementation of metering automation and enterprise level IT systems. He has worked globally as a manager, engineer and consultant and has been awarded multiple US patents for innovations in metering technology. Tim is a Certified Project Management Professional since 2000.



Bob Russ
VP Professional Services

Bob is responsible for consulting product development and business process engineering. He has over 25 years of experience managing complex projects and extensive knowledge of enterprise resource planning and utility business process. Bob helps our project teams and clients drive the organizational change needed to maximize the client's return on their investment.



Kody Salem
Principal Consultant

Kody is an engineer with over 20 years of experience in RF communications, instrumentation and control devices, SCADA, data management and AMI implementation. He brings a practical background in plant operations, automation project delivery and data systems, and diverse knowledge of the essential skills required for all areas of AMI assessment and delivery, in addition to highly refined leadership, management and communication skills. In addition to his broad engineering experience, Kody holds numerous certifications from the U.S. Department of Energy.
